If there’s one thing you should stock up on its flax seeds. They contain protein, fibre and omega-3 fatty acids. Ideally you should grind them down to get the most benefits. However, they can also be sprinkled over salads and yoghurt. If you do grind them down they will only last for around a week.

8. Fish oil

Fish oil is an extremely important part of a bodybuilder’s diet. It helps increase testosterone levels, reduces inflammation of the skin and joints and helps to reduce body fat. If you can’t get enough in your daily diet, it is highly recommended you take a supplement.
